Ancestral Balm is a creamy, whipped, potent formula designed for face, hands, and body. Made with high-quality grass-fed Norwegian tallow and Norwegian organic raw honey.

It deeply moisturises and supports the skin barrier with a fatty acid profile that closely resembles the skin’s natural oils. Non-comedogenic (does not clog poors) and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and blemish-prone skin.

With a mild scent of vanilla from our homemade, organic jojoba oil infused with organic vanilla bean. 100% free from synthetic fragrance.

Norwegian grass-fed tallow: A traditional, natural ingredient that deeply moisturizes the skin. It’s rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. Because it’s similar to your skin’s own natural oils, it helps repair the skin barrier and may calm inflammation.

Shea butter: A nourishing plant butter rich in vitamins A and E, as well as natural antioxidants. It helps moisturize and soften the skin, and can relieve dry, tight, or irritated skin. Suitable for dry and sensitive skin.

Jojoba oil: A lightweight oil that helps support the skin’s natural balance. It moisturizes without clogging pores and is suitable for blemish-prone and combination skin. It can help soothe and comfort stressed or irritated skin.

Norwegian raw honey: A natural ingredient with moisture-binding (humectant) properties that helps keep the skin hydrated. It also has cleansing properties and supports the skin’s natural barrier, making it suitable for blemish-prone and stressed skin.

Vanilla absolute essential oil: Has a warm, comforting scent and contains natural antioxidant compounds. Commonly used in skincare for its pleasant aroma and skin-conditioning properties.

Frankincense essential oil: Has a warm, resinous scent and offers potent anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and regenerative properties, making it ideal for soothing, moisturising, and rejuvenating the skin.

How to use

Apply a pea-sized on your hand an rub to warm up the fats. Then apply to clean, damp skin if using on the face. Follow with light massaging of the face to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage, especially in the morning.

Apply to the body, hands and feet, for all-day nourishment and skin barrier protection.

* Tip if you have dry hands or feet, the balm will perform better if you apply it when they are damp, that allows the fats to penetrate deeper in the skin and lock in the moisture.
